The new FAS measuring system for LPG road tankers is the result of an intensive collaboration between FAS Flüssiggasanlagen, Endress & Hauser and the electronics manufacturer CETIL. A key factor of our success was the open communication with various gas companies and manufacturers for road tankers in different European countries.
The outcome of this activity is a measuring system which meets all current requirements of manufacturers and operators.
The following specific features in the mechanical segment are to be mentioned:
- Electronic register in Ex de execution
- Data transmission via MOBUS interface
- Discharge optionally in kilogram and / or liter
- Density measurement and display (as required)
The complete unit is being delivered with MID-authorisation and in accordance with ATEX and pressure equipment directive 97/23 EG.
